The Emergence of DITI

Dalmia ITI was established in the year 1963 as an Apprenticeship Training School (ATS) , a basic Technical Training School of OCL India Limited.

In the year 1975 it was converted to Dalmia Industrial Apprentice Training Centre, (DIATC) to train the unskilled to build the skill in youth of the locality to tune them cater the need of the industries.

In the year of 1995 the apprentice Training Centre, DIATC was converted to full-fledged Industrial Training Centre popularly known as DITC to impart quality training to local youths and make them industry fit to be utilized / employed commonly by existing as well as upcoming industries.

The name of the institutions has been changed from its old name Dalmia Industrial Training Centre (DITC) to new name Dalmia Private Industrial Training Institute, (DITI) and shifted to a new location, At-Jhagarpur, Po- Kesramal, Via- Rajgangpur, Dist. – Sundargarh, Odisha, Pin-770017. Besides this CTS training the institute is imparting training under value added programs, to sponsored candidates from different sector, driving training, Computer training to the minorities, Modular Employability Skill (MES), Masson training and Auto CAD training in this institution.

Dalmia Private Industrial Training Institute (is managed by) the trust DalmiaAudyogikShikshanPratishthan, an initiative of Dalmia Group of Industries.

Presently DITI is imparting ITI certificate courses under CTS in five different trades i.e. Fitter, Electrician, Machinist, Welder, Computer operator & Programming Assistant with an intake capacity of 336 & 236 in alternative Year. All the above trades are duly approved by DTE&T, Odisha affiliated to NCVT, DGE&T, New Delhi, Govt. of India, vide DGET order No- 6/18/15/96-TC(Pvt.)
